Standing on the corner then, I felt the magic,
The glorious tones of four-part harmony
Through the years, I’ve never lost the feeling
The magic seems to want to follow me 

And now I know where to go
To always find the show
And never regret…what can never be 

All I want to do is play my songs for you 
It's really what I’ve always had to do 
If only just to bring a simple smile,
To me it’s all worthwhile

Every now and then I find I sit and wonder,
Of one more chance, and the possibilities
But the joy I get from the magic, just in playing
Surely puts my wiser heart at ease
